Recently completed by Profile Design a property brochure for a development of 3 apartments and a penthouse in central Chichester.
After considering a number of formats we opted for a 6 page square pocket folder with separate insert sheets for each individual property this enabled the brochure to be both distinctive and adaptable. As the Apartments were still under construction, one of the main challenges on this project was the lack of available images, Through selective external photography, followed by varying degrees of editing work in Photoshop to remove Scaffold poles and other signs of construction we were able to present a good visual representation of the property. These were complemented by a range of other cityscape images and ‘mood’ shots showing local details indicitive of the neighbourhood and heritage.
As well as the design, artwork and photography Profile also undertook most of the copywriting on this project.
We design and produce a number of property brochures throughout the year, every one is as unique as the property or development it represents. We take time to do any necessary background research into the site and the building (if not a new build) to bring any relevant visual elements to the design or the name of the development if we are required to propose this element as well.
As local people with a connection to the city for over 30 years we have quite an in depth local knowledge which often proves invaluable when writing the copy for brochures like this. We have also built up an impressive library of local images to draw upon.
The bottom line for design and production is always the budget – some developments are large enough and prestigious enough to have a budget allocation to allow the use of some very nice print and production materials and finishes, others may have smaller budgets but make up for that with eye catching and unusual design approaches.
