September has been a a busy month for Chichester sign makers Profile Design. We have been busy at sites for Greenacres in Chidham and Maddoxwood in Chichester. These 2 prime developments for Seaward Homes have generated a lot of interest. We have created suitable hoarding and sign designs for both. Profile have worked with a number of agents and property developers in Chichester and around West Sussex And Hampshire. Site hoardings play an essential role in marketing new developments. Often there are no viewable homes at the stage these are erected. The CGI’s typography and lifestyle images are vital to create a flavour of what is to come.
Sign Design Considerations
When designing signs for development sites there are a few things to consider. Firstly what direction the signs will be viewed from, if from a busy road can they be viewed in both directions. So is the design and the typography of a scale that gets essential information across quickly? In general loading hoarding signs with lots of text is counter productive. So concentrate on punchy images and key information and contact details. Secondly, it is important to consider any possible obstructions like low branches, existing fences and positions of drains.
