We felt that the brochure would benefit from being printed on an uncoated paper, and having supplied the client with other design and print examples profile design have created recently, they quickly agreed. Uncoated paper being far more absorbent tends to darken and flatted images, it is essential that pre-press all images go through the process of being adjusted to compensate for this process, ensuring all photos reproduce crisply and brightly. Part of our responsibility as designers is to understand a vast array of print processes, materials, special finishes, and technical possibilities and pitfalls and advise our clients accordingly.
Profile Design have a proven track record for excellence in brochure design stretching back over 25 years. We have designed and produced brochures for a wide range of clients, local and national, in a wide variety of sizes and formats. Apart from the projects featured on our website we have samples of many others which are available on request.
Brochure design is quite often a small part of a larger branding project that we are working on which can include; logo design, stationery design, website design, packaging and point of sale design and production, signs, banners and exhibition panels as well as photography and a range of other requirements. All of which need to be consistent in the way they sit as a family or suite of materials.
