The new website for the Crab & Lobster in Sidlesham is now complete and up and running.
Since the site went live there has been a subsequent peak in traffic! The website now complements the brochure design and other marketing materials we have recently produced for the client. Needless to say the client is very happy with the result.
The site also makes use of some exciting new Web technologies, such as HTML 5, CSS 3, font replacement to ensure that the typography is rendered consistently across browsers (through the phenomenal Typekit service) and numerous JavaScript enhancements to further add a degree of polish to the presentation.
We have also employed industry-standard best practice for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), such as "friendly" URLs and an XML sitemap to assist with the new content being indexed effectively. Additionally, page addresses used by the previous version of the site have been redirected to their shiny new counterparts to maintain the "power" they had already built up on the Search Engines.
