Chichester’s City Walls were constructed by the Romans in the late 3rd century.
Despite the historical significance of the Walls they sit amidst the hustle and bustle of modern day Chichester, something of an unsung hero. Profile have been commissioned following competitive tender by City Walls Partnership and Chichester District Council to bring the story of the Walls to life.
The project involves design of interpretive material and signage to help people understand and navigate the Walls trail.
Profile design are currently working on a range of products designed to raise the profile of the Walls including:
- A visitors leaflet
- Brochure design for residents of properties that adjoin the Walls.
- Souvenir guidebook.
- Teacher kits including lesson plans
- Website design with downloadable resources
- Interpretation panels and plaques to be installed at key locations.
- Pavement markers to be installed around the trail
